St. Nicholas 7th Grade Volleyball Team Picks up 2 Wins This Week/8th Grade Picks up 1 Win, but also loses 1.The 7th grade St. Nicholas team defeated South Dearborn on Tuesday, Sept. 16 in 2 sets with scores of 25-5 and 25-3. They also defeated Brookville Middle School in 2 sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-22. Their record improves to 11-0.The 8th grade team defeated South Dearborn in 2 sets with scores of 25-15 and 25-7. They lost to Brookville Middle School on Thursday in 3 sets with scores of 23-25, 25-7, and 12-15. The girls started out slow, but then began playing their game. They just made a few mistakes, and they weren’t quite able to pull out the win.
